The Updated Economic Analysis Note should be read alongside the Economy Study Update, December 2015.  It takes into account the latest set of employment forecasts for the borough and provides a further updated analysis of the demand and supply of employment land and floorspace.

The Welwyn Hatfield Economy Study Update should be read alongside the Economy Study, July 2014.  The update takes into account the latest employment forecasts for the borough.  It has also reviewed the FEMA taking into account emerging best practice from elsewhere in the country.  A revised analysis of the demand and supply for employment land has been carried out.  

The Welwyn Hatfield Economy Study provides an objective review of the role and function of the local economy in Welwyn Hatfield and identifies the economic markets operating in across and beyond the borough. The study makes recommendations to inform long-term land use planning for employment and will help to inform the council's Local Plan.

The Hertfordshire Strategic Employment Sites Study was commissioned by Hertfordshire County Council, the East of England Development Agency and the ten district and borough councils of Hertfordshire to examine the scope for strategic employment sites in Hertfordshire.

The Hertfordshire London Arc Jobs Growth and Employment final report sets out future needs (to 2026) for employment floorspace for factories, warehouses and offices in Welwyn Hatfield, Broxbourne, Dacorum, Hertsmere, St Albans, Three Rivers and Watford.
