To facilitate the changeover of payment method  (from pay on foot to pay and display) in Hunters Bridge, Campus East Upper and Lower, Campus West and Cherry Tree car parks, the following legal documents were advertised on Wednesday 14th August 2019. Also included in the amendment to our legal documents, a proposed change in charging hours, so on weekdays charging is until 6pm instead of the current 7pm, and on Sundays 5pm instead of 5:30pm.

Following the resurfacing of Campus West car park and the installation of tree pits to protect the tree roots, the layout of the car park was changed to make better use of the available space.  The disabled bays were moved closer to the Campus West building, some additional bays were created  and the boundary of the public parking area was extended around the back of the building.   Two bays were removed to aid traffic flow around the car park.

During this process it was noted that the position of the car park on Ordnance Survey map  did not match the site.  This delayed the creation of the amendments until  a new site survey could be completed.  The survey was recently completed and a draft legal document was prepared. The document was sealed in July 2019 under delegated authority and was published in Welwyn Hatfield Times on 3rd July 2019
