The Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 form part of the development control system in England. These regulations apply to development under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
The regulations set out a procedure for specific arrangements for considering and determining planning applications subject to an Environmental Impact Assessment, including the assessment of information provided, notification and publicity requirements, and reaching a reasoned conclusion.
